Loans

Loans are generally used to finance the purchase of a particular business asset, for example property and the banks will secure the loan against the underlying asset.

Typically the loan will be over a term which is consistant with the useful life of the asset.

The banks will agree to lend a sum of money for a set time at an agreed interest rate. Loans can be inflexible and have demanding covenents unless you are careful in your negotiations with the banks. Once again you will pay “arrangement” fees to the banks for setting up a loan facility which can often add significant cost to the underlying transaction. Xba can help minmise these charges.
